Unlock unprecedented reliability and control in perishable logistics
Across the U.S. every year, billions of temperature-sensitive parcel shipments move through the cold chain.
Traditional operations and software were designed for standardization and averages, not the individual shipment-level decisions required for temperature-sensitive items. In fact, conventional solutions increase cost, waste, and uncertainty in perishable parcel shipping.
Eliminating the historic inefficiencies of perishable parcel shipping expands access to food, medications, and critical supplies, while improving outcomes for the people and organizations that depend on them.
Improved delivery integrity also means fewer corrective re-shipments. This reduces product waste, packaging consumption, and carbon emissions.
When Coldcart succeeds, the financial, social, and environmental benefits extend far beyond any single shipment.
About Coldcart
Coldcart’s team brings deep operational and technology experience to the problem of perishable parcel logistics.
We have led and operated within some of the world’s largest parcel shipping environments, with direct responsibility for cost, service levels, compliance, and outcomes across highly sensitive and regulated products.
Our team members have:
• Invented and scaled category-defining direct-to-consumer fulfillment models
• Led pharmacy operations responsible for billions in annual prescription volume
• Built and operated fulfillment networks for some of the world's largest and fastest-growing eCommerce companies
• Shipped billions of dollars of temperature-sensitive items globally
• Delivered millions of dollars in measurable operational improvements through logistics and technology innovation
Across this ecosystem, we experienced firsthand how fragile, manual, and cost-intensive perishable parcel shipping can be. We were the ones responsible for making these systems work better – under real-world constraints, at scale, and with no margin for error.
These learnings are what led us to create Coldcart as a new approach to solving perishable parcel logistics.
